Our verdict

Cutting it close on a typical Puerto Vallarta call (8:00 am–4:30 pm). The tour runs up to 7 h; with the trip from Puerto Vallarta Maritime Terminal (Terminal Marítima, Puerto Mágico) and back you would reach the gangway around 4:00 pm, inside the 1 h safety margin we recommend. Book it only if your ship stays later than 5:00 pm, or if the operator confirms an earlier start.

We don't have a verified start point for this tour yet, so we assume 20 min each way from the pier — the typical ride in Puerto Vallarta. Check the meeting point on the booking page.

Among the 400 Puerto Vallarta shore excursions we track, this is one of the longer ones (the median runs 4 h); 86% of them fit a typical call.

Computed from the tour's published duration, the distance from the cruise pier to its start point and the typical Puerto Vallarta call. Adjust your ship's times above to recheck.

About this tour

Welcome aboard our All-Inclusive Mega Catamaran!

Spend a full day on the water exploring the south side of Banderas Bay, cruising in style and comfort to places you can only reach by boat: our secluded private beach, Playa Chica Locca, near Quimixto, and the enchanting car-free village of Yelapa. It's the perfect blend of adventure and fun, with a premium open bar and tasty fresh food included all day.

Your day, your way. There's no fixed plan, so you create your own. Spend your time at the beach, at the waterfall, in Yelapa, or simply relax on board, play in the ocean and soak up the sun. Whatever you choose to do, our famous "Chica Locca Service" is with you all day. In season (December to April), whale watching is included along the way!

Perfect for cruise ship passengers. This tour is designed around your time in port. Check in at our office at the Puerto Mágico cruise terminal, step off the pier and onto our catamaran, and we guarantee you'll be back at your ship on time.
