A 12-block, roughly one-mile esplanade along the bay, built in 1935-36 and rebuilt with a wider walkway after Hurricane Kenna damaged it in 2002. It is lined with restaurants and shops and dotted with sculptures such as The Boy on the Seahorse, Tritón y Sirena and Millennium, and it crosses the Río Cuale into the Zona Romántica.
